To make an appointment, call/email and leave a message with the day and time you want to come in.  We will put you on the list when we retrieve the message. Please plan ahead, as we are not in the office every day.

REGISTRATION RENEWALS: 
You may renewal your registration through the mail, using the renewal form we sent you. When mailing in your renewals, please include a self addressed stamped envelope. If you have questions, please email our office. 

NEED PLATES and TITLE APPLICATION? 
If you purchased a vehicle through private sale and need plates & a title application, please email us (see below) to make an appointment to do so. 

DOG REGISTRATIONS: Please register your dog by mail. 

  • Send in a check, made payable to:  Town of Greenfield, PO Box 256, Greenfield, NH 03047. 
  • Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for us to mail your tags back to you. More than two licenses may require extra postage. Group licenses cannot be mailed, so contact our office. 
  • Include a note with: Your dog’s name, breed, name of the owner, address where dog resides and phone number in case we need to contact you. 
  • First time dog registration: proof of neutered or spayed form from Vet. 
  • Updated rabies vaccination date, please include a copy of rabies certificate. 

License Fees: 

  • $10.00 Male or Female 
  • $7.50 Neutered or Spayed Dogs 
  • $7.50 Puppies (3- 7months old) 
  • $3.00 For the first dog of an owner age 65 years & older, all others at regular fee. 
  • $20.00 Group/Kennel (5 dogs or more, owned by one person at one address)

You may also call the office and leave a message: 547-2782x2, but please be aware, we can only access the phone messages when we are in the office processing renewals by mail once or twice a week. Please use email to communicate with us, if you have immediate concerns. 
 
The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for maintaining the town records, including vehicle registrations, vital statistics and voter lists. 
 

Holidays and Closings

Please plan ahead. Check the website for closings. Do us both a favor and don't wait until the last minute to come in, especially around holidays.

VOTING INFORMATION

A person must meet the following to register and vote in New Hampshire: 
  • 18 years of age or older on election day;
  •   A United States citizen; and
  •   Domiciled in the town or ward where the person seeks to vote. 

 ~New Hampshire, allows qualified residents to register to vote on voting day~
