INFORMATION TO TAXPAYER:
Taxpayers desiring any information in regard to taxation or correction of errors must address all inquiries to the Assessor's or Selectboard's Office and NOT the Tax Collector.
Bills in all cases are mailed to the current Owner of record.
Make check or money order payable to: Town of Greenfield
Mail payments to: Town of Greenfield, Tax Collector, PO Box 256, Greenfield, NH 03047
Delivery address to: Town of Greenfield, Tax Collector, 7 Sawmill Road, Greenfield, NH 03047
If payment of the bill is made by mail:
- Return one copy of the Tax Bill.
- Enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope and the entire Tax Bill for return of receipted bill.
If the bill is paid by check or money order, it is not considered paid until the check or money order is cleared. Payment of the bill does not prevent the collection of previous unpaid taxes, nor does an error in the name of the person taxed prevent collection.
