The Town of Greenfield contracts Mark Stetson, CNHA  for assessing services. The property cards can be printed and purchased for $.75 each or if you cannot make it in to the office, ask us to email you a card or click the link above. The Parcel List can be printed, the cost is $35.00. It can be sorted by: Owner Name; Map & Lot Number; or Address/Location.

2023 Tax Rate is $33.90 per 1,000.

2023 Median sales ratio is 60.16%

Current Use: We get many inquiries about Current Use RSA 79:A. The Town has the State CUBs (Current Use Board) guidelines on file. Residents may either purchase a copy from the Town Office or go to the State of N.H. website to download the booklet. If you are purchasing land to build on, ask your realtor if it is in Current Use.

Low & Moderate Income Homeowners Property Tax Relief, RSA 198:56 Rev 1200: See the Town Office for information on how you may qualify for this tax relief or on the web here. You need to complete a DP-8 form and submit to the State no earlier than May 1st and no later than June 30th, for the prior tax year.

Property Files: The Assessing Office maintains all town property files. These files are public record. Please ask to review your file. The files contain: Assessment Cards; Building Permits; Current Use Records; Deeds; Septic Plans; and other correspondence.

Tax Year is as of April 1st. Assessments are updated before the first half tax bills are sent out. Any property changes made after April 1st will not be assessed until the following year.

Tax Maps: You can view or purchase Tax Maps. The entire set is $30.00 for the 11 x 17 size. Individual sheets are $1.50 each. Tax Maps are updated yearly after April 1st, when land is subdivided/lot line adjustment and is approved by the Planning Board. Our Tax Maps are not for surveying purpose and are for reference only.
