Selectboard’s Minutes

Monday, July 13, 2020 – 1:00 pm

Selectboard: Chairwoman Margaret Charig Bliss, Selectwoman Karen Day, Selectman Robert Marshall

Library representatives: Diane Boilard, David Bridgewater, Ray Cilley, Linda Dodge, Bruce Dodge, Agneta Brown, Jean Rube-Renier, Allysum Proctor, Mary Ann Grant

Public: Jarvis Adams V, owner of the Greenfield Inn

Meeting called to order: 1 p.m. by Diane Boilard, on the library lawn, where people exercised social distancing due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Ms. Boilard noted the historical significance of the town’s purchase of a strip of land for the betterment of the town. She noted that the library and the town are grateful to Mr. Adams for his decision to make the land available. The library had already cited expansion of the parking area and other recreational uses for the land.

Documents for Review/Approval: Lot Line Adjustment of a strip of land between the Stephenson Library and Jarvis Adams’ Greenfield Inn. The Selectboard had already voted to approve the transaction at a prior meeting. All three Selectboard members signed the transfer documents.

Meeting Adjournment

There being no further business, at 1:20 pm, Selectwoman Day made a motion to adjourn the meeting; the motion was seconded by the Chair. The motion carried 3-0 in a roll-call vote.
