5:30 PM: Public Forum
At 5:30 pm, Chairman Marshall opened the meeting. The Selectboard began working on the Consent Agenda.
The Selectboard voted on a motion by the Chair and a second by Selectwoman Charig Bliss, 3-0 in favor of the Consent Agenda.
5:45 PM: Selectboard Work Session
The Selectboard discussed having the water tested at each of the Town facilities and requested that the DPW Buildings & Grounds Manager include water testing as a recurring building maintenance item similar to inspection of fire extinguishers (annually) or septic pumping (bi-annually).
Next, the Selectboard discussed the Konica copier contract, which will expire this year. The current contract is a 60-month agreement. The Town Office is currently collecting bids and will make a recommendation once the bid collection process is completed.
Next the Chair discussed the Selectboard calendar. A discussion followed on updating the Master Plan and holding administrative meetings with the Planning Board and other town boards (EDAC, Zoning, ConComm, others). The purpose of the meetings would be to ensure that the boards are all contributing to the future planning of Greenfield. The discussion touched on solar energy for municipal buildings, properties owned by the municipality, and walk-ability of the downtown common area.
There followed a discussion on letters submitted by Greenfield’s Code Enforcement Officer regarding unlawful junkyards in Greenfield. The Board reviewed and approved the letters.
Next the Selectboard discussed Town Meeting and Election Day. It was noted that the Selectboard has not heard from the Town Clerk regarding the upcoming elections. The Town Clerk has been out for more than a year. The Board reviewed and signed a letter to the Town Clerk.
The Selectboard agreed to discuss the warrant article assignments at another time.

At 7:50 pm Selectwoman Charig Bliss made a motion to adjourn the meeting, the motion was seconded by the Chair, the motion carried 3-0.
