Selectboard’s Minutes

Wednesday, June 27, 2018 – 10:00 AM

Selectboard: Chair Robert Marshall, Selectwoman Margaret A. Charig Bliss, Selectwoman Karen Day

10:05 AM Public Session

The Selectboard discussed the Provident Insurance gap-insurance program for the fire department. After some discussion, the Board requested that Tom Greene of Provident visit with the Board to discuss renewal of the insurance program.

Next the Selectboard discussed administrative procedures and policies for the fire department. The Administrator provided a list of current administrative procedures and policies that are currently in place. A bullet list of additional policy initiatives that were recently requested by the Selectboard was discussed. The Selectboard reached a consensus that the policy lists should be shared with the Fire Chief. The Selectboard noted an email from Chief Hall indicating his ability to meet the following day and requested that a meeting time be confirmed for the regular selectboard meeting.

10:30 AM Non-Public Session

On a motion by Selectwoman Charig Bliss and a Second by Selectwoman Day, the Board voted 3-0 in a roll call vote to enter into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II a & c, personnel.

At 12:44pm the Selectboard voted to exit non-public session, 3-0 in favor.

While in the public session, Selectwoman Charig Bliss made a motion to seal the minutes pursuant to RSA 91-A:3 III to preserve the effectiveness of the Board’s decisions and to protect the privacy of individuals that are not members of the Board. Selectwoman Day seconded the motion. The Board voted 3-0 in favor of sealing the minutes.

Adjournment

At 12:45pm Selectwoman Charig Bliss made a motion to adjourn, motion was seconded by Selectwoman Day. Chairman Marshall concurred and the vote was 3-0 in favor.
