5:30 PM: Selectboard Work Session
Chairman Bascom opened the meeting at 5:30pm. The Selectboard began signing documents from the Consent Agenda.
5:45 PM: Angelika Wilkerson, Prosecutor
At 5:45 pm, the Chair welcomed Angelika Wilkerson to the meeting. Attorney Wilkerson provides prosecution services to four towns including the town of Hancock as the Monadnock Regional Prosecutor. Atty. Wilkerson provided background on her education and experience providing prosecution services. Atty Wilkerson was admitted to the bar in 2018. The Board and Atty. Wilkerson held an extended discussion about the regional prosecutor program that is run from the Hancock Police Department location. Attorney Wilkerson provided an overview of typical fees and benefits associated with the Monadnock Prosecutor Program. A discussion of the potential for the town of Jaffrey joining the program and the impact of the additional case load was held. At the conclusion of the discussion, the Chair thanked Atty. Wilkerson for her time and explanation.
6:45 PM: Vint Boggis, Peterborough Prosecutor
At 6:45 pm, the Chair welcomed Peterborough Lieutenant/Prosecutor Vint Boggis to the meeting. Lieutenant Boggis works for the Town of Peterborough as a Police Prosecutor. Lt. Boggis has a Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law. Lt. Boggis has been with the Town of Peterborough since 2010 and also has a background prosecuting cases for the towns of Rindge (2014-2025) and Temple/Greenville. The Board and Lt. Boggis discussed the Greenfield police department’s case load. The benefits of working with a Police Prosecutor were discussed. Lt. Boggis outlined his background, education, and experience. At the conclusion of the discussion, the Chair thanked Lt. Boggis for his time and presentation.
7:30 PM: Library Trustee Andra Hall, Library Director Ella Cademartori
At 7:30 pm, the Chair welcomed Trustee Hall and Director Cademartori to the meeting. The Library representatives discussed the notification received by the town from Civic Plus that the town website is migrating to a new platform. The new platform is a streamlined ADA compliant offering, which Civic Plus has explained solves platform-based issues. The migration is at no additional charge but the website fee will increase for 2026. Next, the Chair and the representatives discussed project schedules at the Library and some recent experiences, which suggested to everyone that more communication is needed to bring the projects to fruition. The Board and representatives discussed the town’s emergency operations plan. Lastly, the Board and the representatives discussed the town’s groundskeeping and gardening services. Priority items include mitigating ice and water build up at the Wensberg Room entrance. The Library Trustees will review the website templates from Civic Plus. The Library will coordinate a meeting with stakeholders regarding maintenance and building projects.
8:15 PM: Selectboard Work Session
The Board discussed the benefits of a Police Prosecutor versus a regional model run by a board-certified attorney. The Board felt that both programs were solid choices and that either choice would be a win for the town. At the conclusion of the discussion the Board made a recommendation to the Administrator for follow-up.
The Chair made a motion to accept the Consent Agenda. The motion was seconded by Selectman Rainier. The Board voted 3-0 to approve the Consent Agenda items.

At 9:15 pm, the Chair made a motion to adjourn the meeting; the motion was seconded by the Selectman Rainier. The motion carried 3-0.
