Trustees of Trust Funds Meeting Minutes

Meeting date:  January 11, 2018 @ 4:32 p.m.

Attendees:  Ken Paulsen, Vicki Norris, Linda Nickerson, Bryan Sanford and Marcie MacKenzie

Bryan & Marcie from Charter Trust reviewed funds in our portfolio for 2017. Low performing equities (notably in the energy sector) are being replaced with shares that have a more promising future. The outlook for 2018 remains much the same as 2017 with continued growth. Bryan also pointed out that interest rates on our most recent purchases of US Treasury Notes and other Federal Government issues are returning 2-2.5% which is keeping slightly ahead of inflation.

Marcie fulfilled the trustees request for CTC 2017 summary reports that are necessary for Greenfield’s trustees to complete NH Department of Revenue annual reports.

The trustees related that, at this point in time, we did not see much activity regarding CRF expenditures. Our Investment Policy Statement for 2018 was not changed from what is currently available for review on the town website. CTC forms indicating investment objectives for the Common Trust Fund and Capital Reserve Fund were signed.

After the CTC presentation, Greenfield’s trustees discussed the timeframe needed for draft MS-9 and MS-10 reports and set a target of January 29.

Our next review with Charter Trust was set for July 12, 2018 @ 4:30 p.m. at the town office.

The next Trustees of the Trust Fund quarterly meeting was set for April 5, 2018 @ 4:30pm.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
