In Attendance: Trustee Raymond Cilley, Trustee Michael Merzi, Trustee Shirley Leblanc, Sexton Merrill Villemore

4:30 PM RCilley called the meeting to order and went over tonight’s agenda.

The board discussed adding the clerk, Catrina Mamczak as an authorized agent to the Cemetery Bank account.

RCilley motioned for a vote to add the clerk, Catrina Mamczak as an authorized agent to make deposits into the cemetery bank account and issue payments. Seconded by MMerzi

Motion passed 3-0.

The board discussed the current conditions of the Greenvale and the Meetinghouse cemeteries. The board would like to get prices to repair any cracks and damages in the stone wall and grout at the Greenvale cemetery, priced out in 3 sections. The main driveways at the Greenvale cemetery are in need of maintenance. The Meetinghouse cemetery needs the overgrown brush and vines cut back and cleared away from the edges.

The board agreed to meet on Tuesday September 2 at 4:30pm at the Greenvale cemetery to measure and mark new rows and plots in the rear section of the cemetery.

The board discussed a need for additional funding for repairs and maintenance at the cemeteries. RCilley motioned for a vote to keep the maximum amount of excess funds allowed in the cemetery account at the end of year, instead of moving the full balance of excess funds into the towns general fund. Seconded by SLeblanc.

Motion passed 3-0

Action Items:

MMerzi will speak to the Greenfield DPW Road agent to get driveway materials for Greenvale driveway repairs.

MMerzi will contact Greenfield’s Landscaping to have them drain the water lines in preparation for the winter season.
