Preliminary Meeting Minutes

In Attendance: Trustee Raymond Cilley, Trustee Michael Merzi, Trustee Vicki Norris, Sexton Merrill Villemore

4:30 PM RCilley called meeting to order and went over tonight’s agenda

Reported the Bank account had been updated to have the former Trustees removed and the new Trustees added

Reported the final bids for the wall repair at  Greenvale Cemetery were reviewed, the lowest bid was accepted and repair work was set to begin July 6

Received a Check from the Blanchard Estate Trust in the amount of $ 1,000.00

Reported Catrina Mamczak will be helping the board with various duties including minute taking and organizing files

Discussed the purpose of the trust funds and what specific purposes they may be used for, the board would like an itemized list of what is included in perpetual care

Action the board would like to look into how the unused cemetery fund balance is dispersed at the end of the year and what specific purposes those funds may be used for

Discussed  future projects at Greenvale Cemetery they would like to start planning including road maintenance, patching repair work along the stone wall, pump house access, and creating a more defined border area along the back side of the cemetery near the pump house.

Action the board would like to make a list of future projects including cost estimates

Action the board would like to schedule time to get new rows and plots laid out at Greenvale Cemetery

Action the board will hold regular monthly meetings on the First Thursday of the month at 4:30 PM in the Meeting Room at the Town Office.
