Friends of the Library

Join a dynamic team of Greenfield citizens who are dedicated to raising funds for the library

  • The Friends sponsor our children's early literacy initiative,  "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" program by purchasing canvas book bags and donating childrens books to give away to participants.
  • The Friends support the afterschool "Full Steam Ahead Club" by purchasing new STEAM materials for the children to experiment with.
  • They also sponsor the annual "Tree Lighting and Stories with Santa" event.
  • They sort through many donated books and run the annual Town Wide Yardsale.
  • The Friends join in supporting many of our library programs by applying for New Hampshire Humanities grants and providing refreshements.


We are grateful to have such a fun and dedicated team of supporters in Greenfield that helps us to accomplish the mission of your library.
