Selectboard’s Minutes

Tuesday, May 15, 2018 – 10:00 AM

Selectboard: Chair Robert Marshall, Selectwoman Margaret A. Charig Bliss, Selectwoman Karen Day 

Staff: Aaron Patt, Town Administrator;

Attys: Barton Mayer, Town Counsel for Greenfield

Selectwoman Charig Bliss came in after 10AM.

10:15 AM: Public Session

At 10:15 am, Chairman Robert Marshall opened the meeting.  Chairman Marshall indicated that the proceedings would be held in non-public session under RSA 91-A:3, II, A and C. Selectwoman Day made a motion to enter into non-public session pursuant to the RSA. The motion was seconded by Selectwoman Charig Bliss. On a roll call vote of 3-0 the Board voted to enter into non-public session.

At 11:15 pm, the Chair made a motion to exit non-public session. Selectwoman Day seconded the motion. On a vote of 3-0, the Board exited public session.

While in the public session, Selectwoman Charig Bliss made a motion to seal the minutes of the non-public hearing and the subsequent deliberations of the Board, in order to preserve the reputation of the individuals discussed, and prevent rendering actions of the Board ineffective pursuant to RSA 91-A:3 III. The Chair seconded the motion. The vote was called and passed 3-0 in favor.

The Board noted for the minutes that Officer John Quigley is no longer employed by the Town of Greenfield.

Adjournment

The time being 11:20, Chairman Marshall motioned to adjourn; Selectwoman Charig Bliss seconded and the vote was unanimous 3-0.

The minutes are final when approved and signed by the Selectboard. A signed copy is on file in the Selectboard’s office.
