Zephyr Lake Beach Rules and Regulations

  1. The town beach is for residents and taxpayers of the Town of Greenfield, N.H. only. Guests are permitted when accompanied by a resident or taxpayer. Greenfield facilities permit sticker is required on your vehicle. You may obtain the sticker from the Town Office.
  2. The beach is open to the residents between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  3. NO DOGS, horses, pets or animals of any kind are allowed on the beach!
  4. No open fires are permitted.
  5. No vehicles are allowed on the beach.
  6. Disturbing noises and/or music is prohibited.
  7. Littering, including the careless disposal of cigarettes is prohibited.
  8. Pick up your trash and take it home with you. This is a carry in/carry out facility.
  9. Alcoholic beverages prohibited.
  10. NO Smoking on the Beaches

  • Zephyr Lake Beach is “Swim at your own Risk”, as there is no lifeguard on duty at any time.
  • Floatation Devices allowed with caution and care.
  • Fishing allowed outside of where others are swimming.
  • Do not feed the ducks or other wildlife present near beach area.
  • No Horseplay.
  • The beach water is tested by the State. Any time the beach is deemed unsafe for swim, please abide by the signage posted.  

Complaints and comments should be directed to the Town Office at 547-3442.

Emergencies and vandalism in progress should be reported to the Greenfield Police Department by dialing 911.

Other non-emergency police issues should contact the non-emergency dispatch number at 547-2525.
