Preliminary
Greenfield Zoning Board of Adjustment
Meeting Minutes
June 17, 2009
The Board meets at 8:15 pm. Present are Roger, Kevin, Dan, Loren, and Craig.
Kevin states that the meeting was postponed from June 10 as agreed at our last meeting as we could not get comment from John Teague in time for the meeting, but that he was at the town offices on the 10th, opened the building at 7:50 pm and waited to explain the postponement to any of the public that might show up. After none showed he closed up at 8:15pm.
Dan asked if this meeting was noticed, Kevin replied yes.
Dan opened the discussion of the Mitchell rehearing request by recalling his conversation with John Teague.
The board further discussed the case and reviewed the wetlands ordinance at length.
The board talks of how Nate Chamberlain’s own testimony states the fire suppression system could go somewhere else without impacting the wetlands, that the wetland ordinance requires if disturbance can be avoided it must be, and that no new evidence has been offered.
Based on the above discussion, Craig motions to deny the request for rehearing, seconded by Roger, and the motion carried unanimously.
Dan closes the meeting at 9:30
