Greenfield Zoning Board of Adjustment
Meeting Minutes
May 13, 2009
The Board gathers at 8:00 pm to hold a meeting to hand out documents, approve minutes, and discuss business before the board. Present are John, Roger, Kevin, Craig and Loren. Dan arrives at 8:10, and John opens the meeting at 8:15.
The board discuses a new regular meeting night of Wednesday, and change the meeting night to Wednesday. The board then decides to regularly meet on Wednesdays, and sets a schedule of meeting on the first Wednesday of every even month.
John explains that in the documents there is an application to the ZBA for a cell tower on Sawmill road, and that he attended a Planning board meeting and was asked to respond to a request from that applicant before the Planning board for a joint hearing with the ZBA. John stated that his opinion of joint hearings was not all favorable, and why he felt so. John stated that the Planning board discussed the matter and decided against a joint hearing.
Peter Hopkins came in and explained what was happening in Antrim as per their cell tower, and that the Antrim was pleased with Greenfield’s notification to them of our cell tower hearing.
John discusses with the board that he feels it would be good to find an additional alternate member. The board discusses and agrees.
John states he’d like to discuss the pending case against the ZBA with the board. Craig motions to go into a non-public session per RSA 91:A: 32e to discuss the case. Motion seconded by Loren, and the motion unanimously passes. The board goes into non-public at 9:00 pm.
Roger motions to come out of non-public at 9:30, and Dan seconds the motion. The motion unanimously passes.
Roger motions to seal the minutes, seconded by Craig, and the board votes to carry the motion unanimously.
Minutes are read of the hearing of November 25, 2008.
Roger motions to correct line 16 to read “feet,” not ”foot.”
Roger motions to accept the minutes as corrected, seconded by Loren, motion carries.
The Board reaffirms that they’ll be meeting next Wednesday at 8:00 pm, and that it’ll be posted.
Motion made to end meeting at 10:00 pm, and motion carries.
