Greenfield Zoning Board of Adjustment
Meeting Minutes
October 15, 2008
The Zoning Board starts to gather after 8:00 p.m. with John, Craig, Dan, and Kevin in attendance. Kevin states Roger will not be here as he has a previous engagement and Loren will be arriving late. John opens the meeting and goes over mail. The board discusses what the Planning Board has been doing lately and possible changes in the zoning ordinances. Loren arrives at approximately 9:00 pm.
The board goes over the appeal submitted By Atty. Little asking the board to vacate the board’s previous decision of September 16, 2008 to deny a rehearing request filed by Nate Chamberlain of Meridian on September 5, 2008, and to allow amendment to the motion to re-hear case 08-6.
The board discusses the request of Atty. Little.
Motion made by Craig to vacate the decision of September 16, 2008 to allow the applicant the opportunity to file appeal after reading the minutes, seconded by Kevin, motion carries unanimously.
Motion made by Craig to accept Atty. Little’s addendum to the rehearing request filed by Nate Chamberlain on September 5, seconded by Dan, motion carries unanimously
The board further discusses the merits of the case.
Motion made by Craig, finding that the facts stated in the original Meridian decision to deny motion for re-hearing case 08-6 stand, and the supplemental request did not address any error the board had made in it’s original decision, and did not provide any new evidence that changed the opinion of the Board.
Therefore the motion for rehearing is denied.
Motion seconded by Kevin, motion carries unanimously.
The board reads the minutes of the September 16 meeting, motion made by Craig to accept the minutes as read.
Motion to close the meeting made by Dan, seconded by Kevin, meeting adjourned at 9:45.
