December 16, 2003

Meeting opens at 7:00 pm
Minutes from November 25 postponed,

Unfinished business: none
Mail: Greenfield Inn violation notification copy.

Diane Bollard Letter read;

Case 7-03 opens at 7:30

John steps down, citing past conversations with applicant.

Roger asks John to continue to preside over meeting; John agrees, no objection from the Board.

Sitting on Board; Roger, Dale, Daniel, Craig, and Kevin.

Board presents fee invoice to Applicant.
Applicant states that Peter said no fee was necessary in this case because it’s appeal from executive decision.

John agreed to forgo fee for now, but Board will look into matter.

Applicant states the matters as they stand.

Roger questions who is the legal representative
of the Trust.

Applicant states that it’s his mother, Jo-Ann Horne, but he’s been responsible for trust.
Mr. Horne states the trust has expired.

John questions who has legal responsibility?

App states the town has been sending him the legal notices, etc.

Roger asks George Ranier about the selectmen’s meeting with applicant.

Only abutter present, Dorothy Macalister.

John asks if notice receipts were received by the town.

Kevin replies, none, but that the notices were sent out on time.

Discussion about trust, and legal representative
of trust.

Roger motions to table hearing citing lack of receipts from abutters, Owner and legal representation, clarification of invoice, and states it would be better if Peter were present.

Motion to table passes at 8:15 pm, applicant will contact town when he is ready to proceed.

Open discussion on setback with gallery, motion to adjourn at 8:30
Passed after setting date for next meeting, 12/30/03 at 7:00 pm.
