Greenfield Trails Association
Preserving Trails in and around Greenfield, New Hampshire
Our Mission
The Greenfield Trails Association is working to restore, maintain and enhance our uni trails and to foster their preservation and stewardship.
As NH population grows, we are seeing houses where there were once fields and roads where there were once trails. Concerned outdoor enthusiasts in our area have joined together to save our trails from their extinction.
Greenfield has many natural attractions for outdoor enthusiasts. We have a state park with over 200 campsites, 2 lakes, 4 mountains, and 50+ miles of trails. The Wapack trail is a 22 mile trail which starts in Massachusetts, crosses over North Pack Monadnock and ends in Greenfield.
Our trails need attention today, so that they will be here tomorrow. It is the goal of the GTA to rehabilitate 22 miles of unusable trails and make them accessible to the public. We will be doing this by building 50+ bridges, hanging trail information signs, and publishing a trail map.
