Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Thursday – February 10, 2011 – 6:00 pm
Present: Chairman, Jarvis Adams, IV; Selectwoman, Karen Day; Selectman, Aaron Kullgren

Appointments:
6:30 the Budget Hearing was called to order.
10:18 the Budget Hearing was adjourned and Selectmen’s Meeting briefly resumed.

Mail - Misc. mail was reviewed.
Personnel Policy Updates – A schedule date to update the personnel policies with Selectmen & department heads regarding the personnel policies was discussed. After Town Meeting will be the best time to schedule a meeting for this purpose.
Purchase order policy – Tabled until after Town Meeting.
DRAFT Town Report – Selectmen were provided a DRAFT Town Report to review and edit.
Adobe 10 pro – Town Office needs to purchase this software, the current program is outdated. The cost is $500.00. Selectmen will adjust the budget accordingly.
Wapack Refuge – Administrative Assistant informed the Board she met with Graham Taylor of the Wapack Refuge. Mr. Taylor explained the US Fish & Wildlife Services intends to install 15 parking spaces on Old Mountain Road for parking at the Wapack Trail. Mr. Taylor would like to meet with the Selectboard at a later date. The parking will be asphalt with a sub-trail to the Wapack trailhead. The parking spaces are expected to be complete in the year 2012.
Martial Arts program – Josh Boisvert met with Administrative Assistant who provided the Selectboard with a flyer explaining Mr. Boisvert’s desire to hold a martial arts program for children. Selectmen would like to meet with Mr. Boisvert and review his references at the next Selectmen’s Meeting.
Adjournment - With no further business, after the budget hearing, Selectmen’s Meeting was adjourned at 10:30 pm. The next Selectmen’s Meeting will be held on February 17, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
