Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Thursday – February 3, 2011 – 6:00 pm
Present: Chairman, Jarvis Adams, IV; Selectwoman, Karen Day; Selectman, Aaron Kullgren
Minutes: Administrative Assistant, Debra Davidson taking minutes.
Appointments:
Work session only; preparation for budget hearing, Selectboard report revisions
Selectmen reviewed the budget and warrant. The warrant had some revisions.
As a result of DPW Supervisor, Kevin McDonald providing Chairman Adams a written resignation, the Board did not accept it but did make changes in the budget.
Selectwoman Day will reach out to McDonald to discuss this and to ask about an exit interview.

Other Matters:
Mail - Misc. mail was reviewed
Letters- From HHCCS – requesting restoration of $775.00/year for Home Health Care, at this time the line item will remain with $500.00.
Personnel Policy Updates – Tabled until after Town Meeting.
Purchase order policy – Tabled until BOS signature
Temporary Housing – Administrative Assistant, Deb Davidson discussed a temporary housing situation for a homeless person, the Selectmen approved this decision.
Mtg. House – Administrative Assistant, Deb Davidson asked if notice can be posted & also that it be mentioned at Town Meeting no tape is to be put on the walls of the Meeting House. There has been tape used on the walls and it is removing the new paint. Selectmen agreed to this.
Town Report – A draft Town Report will be available for the Board to review at the next Selectboard Meeting. There was a problem with the Adobe software program and the draft Town Report was unable to be printed at this time. Selectwoman Day will ask the DPW Supervisor to provide his 2010 report early next week.
Adjournment - with no further business, the Selectboard meeting adjourned at 7:25 pm. The next Selectmen’s Meeting will be on Thursday, February 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm. The budget hearing is scheduled for that evening at 6:30 pm.
