Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Thursday – March 8, 2007 – 5:45 pm
Present: Selectmen - Chairman, Conrad Dumas; Selectman, Aaron Kullgren; Selectman George Rainier
Appointments:
6:00 - In accordance with RSA 91A:3 II (a ) Motion by Selectman Dumas to enter into non-public for purpose of discussing personnel issues. Seconded by Selectmen Rainier & Kullgren
All were in favor
7:15 – Motion by Selectman Dumas to enter out of the non-public session and to further seal the minutes. Seconded by Selectmen Rainier & Kullgren
All were in favor
Decision: No decisions were made, however Selectman Dumas wanted it on record that he personally, as a board member is not in favor of merit raises for town employees.
Other Business:
o Misc. Mail – Selectmen reviewed the miscellaneous mail file
o Minutes – Selectmen reviewed the minutes of 3/1/07 Selectmen’s Meeting make any amendments if necessary.
o Payroll – Selectmen signed payroll
o Letters – Pam Crook, Andrea Langley, Irene Russell
o Appointment – There was an appointment recommended by Dario Carrara to appoint Gene Mitchell to the Planning Board as an alternate member, Selectmen stated they would like to wait until the new board is elected before appointing anyone to this position. Selectman Kullgren signed the appointment but was in agreement with Selectmen Rainier & Dumas to wait.
On-going matters:
WW monitoring wells – Selectmen asked that this remain on the agenda until it is resolved.
Flood Plain Ordinance – Selectmen asked that this remain on the agenda until it is resolved.
Town Trash Pick-up – Selectmen asked that this remain on the agenda until it is resolved.
Recycle Brochure – Selectmen asked that this remain on the agenda until it is resolved.
Town Meeting – Selectmen spent some time preparing for town meeting – Discussed who would speak to which articles at Town Meeting.
With no further business Selectmen adjourned the meeting 8:45 pm. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday March 15, 2007 at 5:45 pm.
