Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Thursday – November 20, 2006 – 5:45 pm
Present: Selectmen - Chairman, Conrad Dumas; Selectman, Aaron Kullgren; Selectman George Rainier
Selectman Dumas called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm

· A/P checks approval; A/P Invoices
· Minutes – Selectmen accepted the minutes of 11/9/06 and 11/16/06 as written
· Sign Correspondence – letter to Mr. Carbee re: Catch Basin
· Jersey Barriers – Administrative Assistant reported she discussed with John Teague he writing a letter to Norm Makechnie. Attorney Teague spoke with Attorney Makechnie who suggested we sit down with Mr. Delay, Attorney Mackechnie & Attorney Teague to talk this through. Mr. Delay indicated he would be happy to move the barriers they were put there to keep people off his parking lot area. Mr. Delay stated he is not wanting to cause any problem. We also need to look into the location of the well, do we want to have the water easement rights? Selectmen would like to schedule a meeting next Tuesday at 6:45 pm to discuss the water rights, the right
of way and the lot which is being referred to as a parking lot. Present at the meeting will be Attorney Teague, Attorney Makechnie, Mr. Delay and Selectmen. They would like approximately 45 minutes blocked out to discuss these matters.
· Furnace – Administrative Assistant reported the town furnace at the meeting house needed servicing this week.
· Conference – Administrative Assistant reported to the Board what she learned at the conference. Deb attended sessions about workers comp., welfare, right to know laws etc. there were several good sessions overlapping, making it difficult to attend some that would have been valuable.
· Reminder – November 29th @ 7:00 pm, meeting in Peterborough to discuss the future of ambulance support
· Upcoming Meetings –
o Selectmen asked that there be NO appointments on December 7th, Selectmen want to discuss budgets only that evening.
o Meeting schedule changes – Thursday - Dec. 14th meeting will be changed to Wednesday - Dec. 13th at 5:45
· 11/28 Meeting – Selectmen would like to discuss the budget next week.
· Town Report – Selectmen discussed the dedication of the Town Report; a suggestion for the cover is the covered bridge.
With no further business Selectmen adjourned the meeting at 6:15 pm. The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, November 28 at 5:45 pm.
