The Town of Greenfield, New Hampshire
Nature Walk
NATURE WALK

Greenfield Trails Association & The Monadnock Conservancy would like to invate all to join them for a nature walk on October 18, 2008 between 9 am - 11 am.  The walk will be on the property owned by Mike and Monica Lehner and on trails built and maintained by the Greenfield Trails Association.

The walk will include a two-hour stroll along thelush stream corridor that runs through the Lehner's Rand Brook conservation easement and abutting lands.  Noteable features you will see include glacial eskers, beaver dams and ponds, mixed stands of white, red, and pitch pine trees, exemplary floodplain forest, and beautiful stretches of Rand Brook.

If would like to join them for this walk, they invite you to meet them at 8:45 am on October 18th, behind the Greenfield Town Hall.  They will carpool and caravan from there to the easement.
