Minutes of meeting March 13, 2008
7:02 p.m. in kitchen of Town Offices


Members present: Roger Lessard, Dan Wolaver

Minutes of February 29, 2008 meeting: approved
Roger will ask the BOS for a copy of Cuddemi’s quote on a heating system for the Town Offices Building.

PSNH sent a proposal as part of their Municipal Smart Start program. PSNH will pay for new energy-efficient high-pressure sodium vapor lamps (yellow).  Current electric bill for street lights is $4255/yr.
Ultimate savings (after a lamp pay-off period of 8.5 years is $1162/yr.  Details are in the attached contract they propose.
Roger will find other firms (besides Nickerson-Remick) that do foam insulation and get competing estimates for the Town Offices Building.
Aaron will look into wood chips as an alternative fuel for the Town Offices Building.  Dan will look into visiting the Hancock Conservation Center to see their heating system.
Roger has heard from Epping that the TEC can visit their town building March 29 to see their energy-efficient heating system.  Roger will nail down a time.
