Conservation Commission Minutes

Attending: Roger Lessard, Carol Irvin, Karen Day
Absent: Neal Brown
Talked about a public outing on the Robertson property to show people the beautiful land that Steve has put under easement with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. This could be a paddle and walk event. Carol will make sure the landowner is comfortable with the event and arrangements. If so, then she will contact Meade Cadot from the Harris Center to see if we can schedule this right away. Dates that would be good for us are the 17th or the 24th. Karen will give Gordon Russell a call to see if he would attend. We would supply cider, cookies and apples and it will be a rain or shine event. Time will be 1pm.
Karen will also call Don Stokes to see if he would do a slide show in the winter.
