The Town of Greenfield, New Hampshire
Conservation Commission Minutes 7/26/06
Greenfield Conservation Commission
Minutes
July 26th, 2006

Attended:               Karen Day, Neal Brown, Janet Romanelli
Absent:         Roger Lessard, Karla Allen, Miriam Lockhart

Special attendees:      Victor “Chip” Mangini, Jr., landowner
                        Dave O’Hara, Surveyor

Current Business

Photo Contest for the Spring Season - Neal will post the entries in the library for people to vote on by August 15th.

Tally Sheet for the roadside clean-up - the group assisted Karen with details for the form so that we can get the daffodils the Adopt-a-Highway program sends to participants.
Turtle Sign - they were too small and easily stolen, so next year, we will make 2’ x 2’ ones and mount them high.  Janet will contact Public Service as a member of the ConCom to ask if we can use their poles for 1-2 months in the spring.  Neal will pull up the remaining two signs.
Programs/Articles for the Spirit - Janet will write something up by 9/1 for the Eyes on Owls program 10/22.  Should we try to have a program from the Fish & Game in the fall?

Victor Mangini subdivision - we did not have input from enough members in order to approve it for minimum impact.  Karen will contact Dave O’Hara before the next meeting at dmosurvey@yahoo.com.
Any other business brought forward by members or attendees - none.

Mail of importance - none.
